My father started working for Kappels Jewelers as a watch repairman at the age of sixteen.  He joined the Navy he set timers for torpedo's, and all timing devices.  After the war, he returned to repairing watches for Wolk's Camera exchange on Diamond Street in Pittsburgh, PA.  Later, working for Paramount Jewelers also on Diamond Street.  In 1960 the family bought Krasons Jewelers and have been involved in the Jewelry trade ever since. We changed the name in 1973 to Hrvatin Jewelers. 

My trade is Jewelry designing, stone setting, casting in gold or silver, watch & clock repairing.  I have been involved in the jewelry business for over 40 years. 

My father taught me a trade that has allowed me to give happiness to people and be blessed by good friends.
